General limits

Approved shared infrastructure may receive a controlled exception under the I-line Policy.

New-user protections

/LIST is normally available after 60 seconds.
/INVITE is normally available after 120 seconds.
Identified or established users may be exempt from these delays.
New connections are throttled during unusual connection activity.
Channel flood protection uses UnrealIRCd's normal protection profile.
Proxy, drone and compromised-host blocklists help protect the network.

Enforcement terminology

Action	Purpose
Warning	Directs a user to stop or correct conduct.
Channel action	Kick, quiet, ban or other local channel moderation.
K-line	Connection restriction on an issuing IRC server.
G-line	Connection restriction across the IRC network.
Z-line/GZ-line	IP-level connection restriction.
Shun	Restricts a connected user's commands or communication.
Service suspension	Restricts a registered account, channel or related resource.

Action and duration depend on severity, intent, repetition, evasion and network risk. Automated security detections do not define the duration of every manually issued sanction.
