DarkWorld Advertising, Invitations and Recruitment Policy

Purpose

DarkWorld Network is a community for communication, collaboration, entertainment and DarkWorld projects. It must not be used to harvest users, recruit members for other communities, or sell products and services through unsolicited promotion.

This policy applies to public channels, private messages, notices, bots, relays, bridges, websites, shells, bouncers, game servers and other DarkWorld services.

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are prohibited unless prior approval has been granted by DarkWorld Administration:

Important:

There is no minimum number of messages required for a violation. A single deliberately targeted, deceptive or harmful solicitation may be sufficient for enforcement.

Private Messages

Private messages are not exempt from this policy. Users must not search channel member lists and privately contact people with advertisements, invitations or recruitment offers.

Moving prohibited advertising from a public channel into private messages does not make it acceptable.

Bots, Relays and Bridges

Bot, relay and bridge operators are responsible for content transmitted through their systems. They must take reasonable steps to prevent advertisements, invitations and recruitment messages from entering DarkWorld.

DarkWorld may restrict or remove any bot, relay or bridge that carries prohibited content, bypasses moderation, or cannot be properly controlled.

What Is Allowed

The following is generally permitted:

Requested recommendations must remain relevant, limited and honest. Any ownership, employment, commission, referral reward or other financial interest should be disclosed.

Fabricated questions, staged recommendations and repeated promotional mentions will be treated as advertising.

Channel and Project Responsibilities

Channel owners and operators must not knowingly allow their channels to be used for mass advertising, user-poaching, commercial spam or recruitment for external communities.

Registering a channel does not grant permission to advertise across DarkWorld. Network-wide policies take priority over individual channel rules.

DarkWorld projects may publish relevant announcements inside their own channels. Repeated or network-wide announcements require approval from DarkWorld Administration.

Advertising Approval

Anyone wishing to advertise a legitimate service, event, partnership or project must obtain approval before posting.

Approval may limit:

Friendship with staff, channel operator status, past tolerance or approval on another DarkWorld service does not constitute permission.

Serious and Harmful Advertising

Advertising involving fraud, phishing, malware, stolen accounts, credential theft, illegal services, DDoS services, financial scams, exploitation or other harmful activity may result in an immediate permanent ban without warning.

Enforcement

Enforcement will depend on the severity, intent, scale, history, cooperation and effect of the violation.

Possible actions include:

DarkWorld is not required to issue a warning before taking action. Mass solicitation, automated advertising, targeted user-poaching, repeated violations, retaliation or enforcement evasion may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal.

Reporting and Appeals

Violations should be reported privately to DarkWorld staff. Reports should include the nickname, account, date and time, channel, relevant logs, screenshots and links where available.

Public accusations, retaliation, harassment, fabricated evidence and abuse of the reporting process are prohibited.

A sanctioned user may submit an appeal through the official DarkWorld appeal process. Alternate accounts, public arguments, threats or repeated messages must not be used to challenge an enforcement action.

Fair Application:

This policy is intended to prevent solicitation and abuse, not normal discussion, legitimate criticism or reasonable personal recommendations.

DarkWorld staff will consider the content, context, frequency, audience, intent, complaints and previous conduct when deciding whether a violation occurred.
