DarkWorld Relay / Bridge Policy

Purpose

DarkWorld allows relay bots and bridged channels where they serve a genuine community purpose. However, relays must not be used as a way to advertise, promote, recruit, or redirect DarkWorld users to other IRC networks, servers, communities, or external projects.

Relay Approval Requirement

All relay bots and external bridges require prior approval from DarkWorld Administration before being connected or operated on the network. Channel owners or relay operators must submit a Relay / Bridge Request and agree to the required policy checklist.

Relay Rules

• Relay channels must not repeatedly promote another network, server address, website, channel, service, or project.
• Relayed messages containing advertisements, invitations, recruitment messages, or promotional links must be filtered.
• Relay bots must not send automatic network advertisements, connection details, promotional notices, or invitations.
• Relays must not be used to redirect DarkWorld users to another network, community, or platform.
• Relay operators are responsible for the content forwarded by their bots.
• Relay bots must not be used to bypass DarkWorld rules, channel restrictions, bans, or moderation actions.

Enforcement

DarkWorld Administration may request changes, reject a request, suspend an approved relay, remove a relay, close a relay channel, or take network action if a relay is used for advertising, solicitation, abuse, disruption, or policy violations.
