DarkWorld IRC Staff Training FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

These answers cover the public programme. Personal application and evaluation questions should be handled privately.

Does completing training guarantee a staff position?

No. Appointment depends on the complete record, operational need, suitable role, security, conduct and management approval.

Do I receive IRC operator access during training?

Not automatically. Most learning requires no privileged access. Any trainee or probation access is limited, documented and supervised.

How long does training take?

It depends on availability, progress, revision, assessments, supervised opportunities and management review. Quality and safety are more important than speed.

Can I apply if I work on another network or project?

Possibly, but all roles, ownership, access and conflicts must be disclosed. Some combinations may require boundaries, reassignment or refusal.

Can friends or existing staff recommend me?

They may provide relevant information, but friendship or recommendation does not replace eligibility, assessment or independent review.

Can I use AI or outside resources?

Only when the assignment or examiner permits it. Submitted work must accurately represent your own understanding, and required disclosure rules must be followed.

What happens if I make a mistake?

Report it promptly, help restore the correct state and learn from feedback. Honest correction is expected; concealment or repeated unsafe behavior is more serious.

Why was my work returned for revision?

Revision may be required for incomplete knowledge, weak reasoning, unsafe steps, missing evidence, poor documentation or failure to meet the assignment.

Can I see examination answer keys?

No. Keys, scripts and internal scoring guidance are restricted to authorized personnel.

How is my information protected?

Candidate records are role-restricted and used for programme administration, security, accountability and review. Candidates must also protect portal credentials and private records.

What if I disagree with a result?

Respond through the portal or published review process with specific facts and evidence. Public arguments or confidential disclosures are not appropriate.

Can training be paused?

Yes. Availability, health, security, conflicts, conduct review or operational circumstances may justify a pause. Resumption is subject to review.

Where can I get help?

Use the trainee portal for personal training matters. General IRC support is available through official DarkWorld help channels. Never post private evidence publicly.
